2. Program description

BetterYourself Incorporated Client Alerts is a text message program used to send appointment reminders, policy updates, and follow-up communications to clients and prospective clients who have opted in. Messages relate to insurance appointments, applications, policy service, and replies to enquiries you have made with our agency. This is not a subscription content program, and consent to receive messages is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

3. How to opt in

You may opt in to BetterYourself Incorporated Client Alerts in either of the following ways:

• By checking the unchecked consent checkbox on a form on our website — for example the opt-in form on our home page — and submitting your mobile number with that form; or
• By replying YES or START to a message from us, or by providing express written consent to a licensed agent.

The checkbox is never pre-checked, and the full consent language is displayed next to it at the point of collection.
